The cité is an architectural typology that appears at the end of the 19th century. A continuous façade construction that solved the housing problem of the less affluent classes. The Cité Adriana Cousiño, located in the second neighborhood that was populated in Santiago, Barrio Yungay, marvel us because although it was built for a lower economic group compared to more elegant neighborhoods (Como Concha y Toro or Paris London), it was designed by the same outstanding architects: Alberto Cruz Montt and Ricardo Larraín Bravo, who applied the same way of living in community: a common green area that serves as a patio to all these houses that are next to each other. It stands out for its beautiful gardens with several palm trees and a large floripondio, which cross it in the middle, serving as a separation for houses with large and elegant yellow, red and green porches.
